WWII Winchester, Sept. - Oct. 1941 Manufacture with 1944 barrel and sling. This M 1 in all probability saw a lot of action to have barrel replaced 2 1/2 years later. The action, barrel and stock are in outstanding condition, but has a few dings here and there. That square marking (stamp) on right side is called a Cartouche. See pictures. That is a 30 06 FMJ cartridge in the barrel, and shows practically no wear. I am a US Army Vet and MOS was Armorer (gunsmith) and I can assure you of the condition. You won't find one in much better condition. Great addition to any collection. Hate to see it go but I'm 80 and time to let it go. See my other listings on this site. Shipping is $65.
