Description:
This .54 caliber Jaeger rifle has a Getz swamped 1-3/32" to 7/8" to 1" x 31" browned barrel with 1:56 twist that is fitted with a Jaeger style folding leaf rear sight and a German silver blade front sight. The bore is very good. Stamped on the bottom flat is Getz Beavertown PA .54 1/56 13069.The Presentation grade Maple stock is mounted with browned steel furniture, including a wooden sliding patch box and Ebony nose cap. Very tasteful carving and wire inlay embellishes the stock. Housed in the patch box is a cleaning/loading jag and a patch worm in a custom made flip-up holder. Carved in the left side of the butt stock toe is Kern '92 006. The RE Davis Jaeger flint lock is activated by RE Davis double set Jaeger style triggers. Length of pull is 13-1/2", overall length is 46", weight is 9 lbs Very good wood to metal fit - made by Craig Kern. Condition: Very Good. Our stock number is P-29-56.
