Description:
This Rockola was mfg abt 10/43 and it is in it's original configuration. All of it's Parts are
as they originally were assembled to the firarm. The guns bluing is the original medium
gray parkerizing w/normal wear.The Buttstock & forearm combination along w.the handguard
are all matching. (The buttstock has the correct cartouche of the framed "RMC" w/the Cross Cannons
ordnance.(The sling, oiler & magazine are for presentation purposes only and not included.)
I use R. C. Larson's 2nd Edition & US M1 Carbines by Craig Riesch for most of of my references.
This Carbine has the correct Flip Rear Sight w/the markings of "BR/S" (See Pics). (No stake markings
or Te Barrel Band scoring on the barrel), The correct buttstock w/the cartouche & Ordnance Cannons..

Receiver - 1st Block 10/43, *Rear Sight - Flip w/Markings of BR/S, Barrel - Rockola, Front Sighr - Marked "TR", Bolt - T2 Marked "Rockola",Firing Pin T1, Extractor -T3, Ejector -T3,Trig Hsg -T2 w/Rockola (See Pic), Trig Te 1/Rockola, Sear - T1 w/Rockola, *Hammer T2 w/"KR", Safety T2 w/UM, Mag Catch - T2 w/"BR", Oper Slide - T2 w/"Rockola imprinted in well, Sock -T1 w/RMC & Ordnance, Handguard - T1 w/RMC un the underside, Recoil Plate - T2 w/Rock-Ola Mark.ings, *Barrel Bnd - T1a w/"M-R Markings". Butt Plate - Earley. Parts marked w/* are indicated due to rariety.
This Rockola has the normal carbine action and a very shiney bore. It measures "1".
I would rate this "Rockola as an "NRA Excellent"
