This listing is for my US M4 bayonet for the M1 Carbine, manufactured by Turner Manufacturing of Statesville, NC. Turner was awarded a contract for nearly 300,000 of these bayonets in 1954, some of which were used in Vietnam and other locations. This bayonet appears to have never been issued and retains 95% original finish. It is marked USM4 and TMN on the blade side of the crossguard. There is no marking on the handle side of the crossguard. The plastic grips have a couple of small dings but no cracks. The bayonet is paired with a US M8A1 scabbard which is pretty heavily used. There are no cracks in the fiberglass, but there are lots of tiny scratches and much of the OD paint is worn off the fiberglass. The canvas portion is intact but "oily". The brass snap works correctly. USPS shipping will be $10. Payment by USPS Money Order is required. Thanks for looking !
