Standard late configuration Bergmann 1896, No. 3, single action blowback, bolt cut for extractor, with 4.5” screw-in barrel having drift adjustable front sight and notched rear sight. Crown/C/U proofs on left side of barrel and chamber. Patent markings on left side of frame that has the later pattern rounded grip. Sideplate with miner logo. Full SN on right side of frame. Fitted with uniformly checkered grips and fixed lanyard loop. Synopsis: Scarce, charismatic, Bergmann, 1896, No 3, 6.5mm, 1685, PCA-178 Condition: VG with thinning, fading, and scratches consistent with moderate use. Comparable condition strawed and fired blued parts showing no suggestion of enhancement. Oil darkened grips with blunted checkering. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
