Remember the highly popular Beretta 682 ? The “Cole Special” is a reincarnation of the original 682 but with some highly desirable upgrades to meet the needs of today’s shooters. And this particular gun, serial number RC 05xx, is in great condition. The “Cole Special” was made in limited quantities and is no longer available. It incorporates a number of popular features like a single selective mechanical trigger adjustable for length of pull, hand-selected highly figured European walnut stock and forearm with righthand palm swell, and the factory over-bored Optima Bore HP barrels. Date code “CT” indicates manufacturing in 2018. Weighs 7lb 9oz making it quick and sure to the target and less tiring to shoot during a long, grueling match. *** The 81cm(32”) Optima Bore High Performance barrels are topped by a raised crosshatched tapered ventilated rib and are marked as weighing 1.57kg. Brass bead front sight. Both barrels have a bore diameter of 0.035”. Comes with six extended choke tubes in Euro Skeet, Skeet, IC, M, IM, and Full constrictions. Also comes with four flush mount steel-shot-safe Beretta HP VK chokes in LM, M, M, and IM constrictions. *** The pistol grip stock and beavertail forearm are crafted out of hand-selected highly figured European walnut. The checkering is crisp. There is a blank German silver initial oval in the stock. Stock dimensions are 15” with the trigger adjusted in the front position to the original Beretta factory recoil pad by 1-3/8” by 2-3/8”. Slightly cast off for the righthanded shooter. *** The “Cole Special” was produced in very limited quantities and is no longer available. Finding one in great condition just doesn’t happen very often. Better move on this one before someone else does! *** Please note that the photographs are part of the description.
