Serial No. 5613, circa 1863-1864, .54 caliber, 21"" round barrel. Serial numbers are matching on barrel and receiver. Metal and other iron parts are a light grey patina with freckling noted. Bore has strong rifling with some areas of frosting and oxidation visible in the grooves. Stock has expected usage and wear noted, otherwise in sharp condition. Action functions correctly, 4th models saw the most service during the civil war.
