Circa 1769, 26"" blade with a silver Eagle pommel. Ivory grooved hilt is dyed green. Cross guards and finals have an eagle like appearance, guard and pommel are connected by a chain. Sword comes with a beautiful brown leather scabbard that still has a faint pattern visible. Scabbard throat has an Eagle engraved. An example of this sword can be seen on page 334, of George Neumann's book ""Battle Weapons of the American Revolution""
