Description:
Springfield Armory M1884 Trapdoor Rifle chambered in 45-70, #547623 mfr'd in 1892. 32 1/2" barrel with an excellent bore, bright and reflective with strong rifling. Overall excellent mechanical condition with crisp markings and good original patina. Wood has a fair share of handling marks but no major damage with cartouches present. "4697" stamped in buttplate, these are generally a rack number. Buffington rear sight. LOP: 13 3/8", Weight: 9 3/4 lbs, Trigger Pull: 5 1/4 lbs.
