Description:
Beretta Mato 280 Remington + a second 30-06 barrel. The 280 Remington barreled action is currently installed in the factory synthetic stock.
The LOP is approximately 13 1/2".
The Beretta Mato actions were built by Dakota. They have a 3 position safety and are CRF and to me appear to be the same action that's installed in Dakota rifles. The Matos have a detachable box magazine instead of a hinged floor plate like the Dakotas.
This sale comes with a second detachable box magazine.
With this sale included is a 30-06 barrel. This is not a "switch barrel" in that a gunsmith will need to screw on the other barrel. I have had both barrels installed at one time or another. Took my gunsmith about 20 minutes each time.
Also included in this sale is a factory wood stock. I think the wood they used on these stocks is qtsde looking. It has front and rear inletted sling studs, a fore end ebony tip and a steel grip cap. The wood stock is also bedded.
There is a small piece of recoil pad missing from the bottom on the synthetic stock.
Both barrels are 23 1/2" long.
The rifle with the synthetic stock and scope weighs 8 lbs 15 ozs.
The Leupold scope shown in the photos is not included in the sale. It is a VX lll 3.5-10x40 with a Boone & Crocket reticle. It can be purchased for an additional $300.00.
