***SOLD*** Here is a rare Model 70 chambered in 300 Winchester Magnum. These were only offered during the final year of "Pre 64" era production (1963) and represent less than 1% of all Model 70s manufactured!
S/N 572*** with matching scribed bolt. 24" barrel. Genuine and near perfect ventilated recoil pad as issued on all of the 300 win mags. This rifle is in overall excellent condition showing 97%+ original finishes with a few minor scuffs/impressions and some bolt cycling wear. Like new inside with no alteration of barrel channel nor structural cracks.
The bore is excellent, as are all mechanical functions. The stock is quite attractive compared to many of the later production guns, with a nice color and some interesting grain character. A very nice and difficult to find rifle.
