Description:
This gun has a 24 inch full round barrel along with a full length magazine tube. Chambered in 38 WCF caliber. Original sights include a German silver blade front and a Winchester sporting rear. Excellent bore and a smooth action. Original wood retains most all the original varnish. There are some very light dings and mars on the stock. Complete with a rifle style buttplate. The gun has an early antique serial number in the 79,000 range. It is a beautiful gun and has all the original barrel and mag blue and the receiver retains about 95% bright vivid blue. Also the hammer and lever have vivid case colors. There appears to be just a little browning starting to appear at the top of the frame. A great looking Antique Winchester lever action rifle.
