Price lowered to $2600 delivered. RARE M1 Garand, Secretary of the Navy Trophy Rifle USMC, with provenance SA SN 4260336, .This rifle is 100% correct and in Collector Grade Condition, barrel 8-53. This rifle was awarded to AME2 (Aviation Safety Equipment Mechanic) IB Fina, who was awarded the Navy Pistol Sharpshooter ribbon at the Atlantic Fleet 1997 pistol championship(document included). This comes with a notorized letter from the first buyer from then CPO Fina. I am the 3d owner of this rifle having purchased it from a friend. The Muzzle Erosion measures 1 and the throat erosion measures 3. The receiver heel is inscribed O-66 (USMC) having been inspected by Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center. At some point in time the Navy turned in all their M1 Garands and the rifle was inspected at the Raritan Army Depot and presumably was put into storage. The rifle is stamped RAP on the left side under the receiver and has a non Serif P on the grip. Thw rifle was then picked for the Navy Rifle and Pistol championships awards program. Note the hammer original and hardly struck. $2600 delivered and insured to your C&R/FFL. I am a current C&R.
