Unless otherwise stated, our guns are not test fired as we have no facility for that. We inspect the firearm and it's action to see if everything appears functional but they are sold without warranty as we have no ammunition to test them with. Unless the item is listed as being sold AS-IS, there is a 3 Day Non-Shooting Inspection Period which starts when the item arrives at your dealer. No shooting, no disassembly. Visual inspection only to confirm correct item and that it matches description in major ways. Minor differences in subjective matters like percent of condition, etc, and personal opinions like ergonomics, fit to your hand or shoulder, etc, do not justify returns. Once you take the item home it is yours and no returns will be allowed. Items listed with AS-IS label are not returnable. We will not issue refunds for unknown mechanical problems. Description:
Here is a Springfield 1873 Trapdoor - 45-70 Govt with high arch breech block. This rifle is in very good shape with a very good bore showing strong rifling and shine with some rough spots. This rifle was made in 1875. The front sight has been replaced with a half of a dime. I cannot see the date on the dime. I don't know much about these rifles but this is a really sweet rifle that is shorter and lighter than most trapdoors I have seen. FREE SHIPPING!
