Very rare early production BDL in .222MAG. with 20" bbl Date code B. K. Produced in January of 1963. Has the original early finish pre the RKW. finish later used with some areas of finish loss and all original metal finishes in great shape. All original sights and front hood are there along with a nice period Weaver v-8 variable scope 2-1/2 to 8 with external adjustments in the mount . Appears to have been shot very little but carried some . Just a nice honest all original one down to it's correct aluminum butplate . Just like you want to find them. Lacy says in his book on the 700s that there may have been less than 75 of these made with the 20" bbl. Making it one of the rarest of all the Remington rifles . No sales to Ca. I'll.
