SALE PENDING, 20231229 - Two-digit serial number confirms that this gun was made in the first year of manufacturing - 1980. These guns were made for two years. Six shot revolver with hinged loading lever; half-round, half-octagon 9 ½-inch barrel, steel backstrap, brass square-back trigger guard. US 1847 stamped above wedge screw, gold engraved portraits of Captain Walker and Samuel Colt on the left side, heritage banner on the right, New York address. In presentation case with the R.L. Wilson book ‘ The Colt Heritage.’ The action has not been cycled since this revolver left the factory. Case hardening is bright and vivid; blue finish and wood grip are excellent. The number on the outside of the package for the book is '32'; this is the book that came in this set from the factory. Everything inside the shipper is like new. The gun was removed from the box to take the pictures for this listing. The gun and all packing materials originally included with this item are provided. The shipper shows dust from storage and remnants of the original fabric shipping tape. This item was listed for a friend who is also the second owner of this set. A very interesting and high-quality re-introduction manufactured by Colt. This is a second-generation Colt Walker, enabling the next owner the option of obtaining a factory letter from Colt. Note that this item can be returned only if delivered damaged during shipment. Shipping/insurance to the lower 48 states is included in the purchase price; additional shipping fees apply for Alaska and Hawaii. Although a blackpowder gun, this set will be shipped by an FFL; a photo id will be required to support shipment but no license is required to purchase.
