The definitive work on the Winchester “Pre-64” Model 70, authorized by Winchester (both Olin Corporation and U.S. Repeating Arms Co.) with over 350 pages and more than 500 photographs (many in full color) is an in-depth study of the Winchester Model 70, 1936-1963, and presents information on the predecessor rifle, the Model 54, and the successor, the new Model 70.
