A Very Early Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver With A 4 Inch Barrel In Excellent Condition. Serial # 123,312, All matching numbers including the wedge. Made in 1856, all original & complete. The revolver has fine plus metal, markings, and edges. It has a full and crisp cylinder scene. The barrel has a two line New York City Address. The barrel and cylinder on the gun retains most of their original factory blue with some small areas fading into a plum patina. The frame, loading lever & hammer retain mottled factory case colors. The backstrap and trigger guard are mint throughout and retain all of their original deep factory silver. All screws are excellent and show original blue on them. The original factory grips are excellent plus to mint throughout and have a wonderful grain to them. They retain all of their original factory varnish on them. The bore is excellent and the action is very tight and crisp. This Is An Excellent And Untouched All Original Example Of An Early Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver With A 4 Inch Barrel On It!
