A Very Early Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver With A 4 Inch Barrel In Nice Untouched Condition. Serial # 107,844, All matching numbers including the wedge. Made in 1855, all original & complete. The revolver has very nice metal, markings, and edges. It has a full and sharp cylinder scene. The barrel has a two line New York City Address. The barrel on the gun retains lots of its original factory blue with some areas thinning into a plum patina. The frame, loading lever & hammer retain their factory case colors with some areas fading. The backstrap and trigger guard are fine throughout and retain about half of their original factory silver. All screws are fine and show some original color on them. The original factory grips are fine throughout and have a nice grain to them. They retain their original factory varnish on them. The bore and the action are fine. This Is A Nice And Untouched All Original Example Of A Very Early Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver With A 4 Inch Barrel On It!
