Description:
Offered for sale is a 1960 Remington 870 TX Sun Grain custom shop trap shotgun! This shotgun features a 30" full choke barrel, gold pins, gold trigger, gold tube cap, and a gold grip cap screw. Stocks are walnut they bleached at the factory for the "sun grain" look. The pad is marked remington and stock measures 13.5" which is factory standard. These are extremely scarce, I have only seen maybe 4 or 5 in 10 years of collecting, according to an article from a 2007 Remington journal article there was 365 total made with a 30" full choke barrel from 1959-1963. This one is in great condition, the only thing I did notice is the front bead looks to have been replaced, I believe they were supposed to be white. Date code is AG for February of 1960. Great gun!
