Description:
For sale is an heavy octagon barreled Winchester 1885 high wall chambered in .22 long rifle. The bore is bright , shiney, and has strong rifling that I would rate at a 10/10. The barrel finish is blued with a few minor dings and scratches. The receiver has turned to a brown patina with some dings and sratches but no pitting. The close coupled double set triggers function as designed. The wood sports a few minor dings and bruises but no cracks or splits. The gun is topped with a Lyman 438-FIELD scope with crosshair/post reticle and clear optics. This gun is very accurate with various ammunition. A Cody Museum letter is included. This gun is dated  December 1904 therefore requiring a FFL transfer. Ensure your FFL dealer will accept a transfer from a private individual. If a FFL shipper is required add $25 to the sale price. Shipping is via USPS ground, insure and tracked for $80.
