Description:
For sale is a custom 26" heavy barreled eary high wall action chambered in .225 Winchester caliber. The #3+ contour round barrel retains 95% of it's matte finish and has a good condition bore with strong rifling that I would rate 9/10. The name Eric Johnson is stamped on top of the barrel between the Unertl style scope mounts which I assume is who did the modifications and barreling. The receiver is starting to turn a brown patina but retains 60%+ of it's original finish. The custom beavertail forearm has a few light dings and it's matching figured shotgun style buttstock with cheek piece has a few scratches and some dry cracks that I have pictured . The Neider style buttplate is nicely fitted. I have found the gun to be very accurate with reloads using various 55 grain bullets. I consider this gun to be a modern firearm since it has been modified to a modern caliber therefore I will require a FFL transfer. Please ensure your FFL will accept a transfer from a private individual. If a FFL shipper is required add $25 to the sale price. Shipping is via USPS ground, insure and tracked for $50.
