Description:
PRICE REDUCED--For sale is a special order Winchester 1885 Highwall Takedown in 25-35WCF caliber dated Jan. 13, 1913. The 28" round barrel is in very good condition with a few dings on the outer surface and a shiney bore and strong rifling. The receiver finish is very good and has a Lyman tang sight which appears to be original. The cresent buttplate has started to show some surface rust. The upgraded wood shows nice figure with a small chip at the toe and a small ding on the left wrist. The forearm has a 3/4" crack (repaired?) on the left side at the receiver (pictured). The action is tight with no wobble. Please ensure your FFL will accept a transfer from a private individual. If a FFL shipper is required add $25 to the sale price. Shipping is via USPS ground, insured and tracked for $100 or $125 with a hard case.
