Description:
This gun has a 26 inch half octagon barrel with a near excellent bore chambered in 22 LR caliber. Features a Pope barrel. "Stevens - Pope" etched on the top barrel flat also in Manufactured By The J Stevens Arms and Tool Co. Chicopee Falls, Mass, USA. Gun has a period correct folding tang sight. Original wood is in excellent condition with a non-checkered pistol grip stock and very fancy wood. Retains most of its varnish. Barrel retains about 95%-barrel blue and the receiver has about 90% blue. Good case colors on the hammer and lever. The Deluxe wood gives an overall neat appearance to the gun. The non checkered pistol grip and Swiss style butt plate is rather scarce.
