RARE COLT MODEL 1949 PERCUSSION POCKET REVOLVER WITH IRON BACK STRAP AND TRIGGER GUARD CIRCA 1856. Five shot .31 cal. with 4” octagon barrel having the two-line “ADDRESS SAML. COLT/NEW YORK CITY” address. Serial numbered in the 113xxx range and all matching including the wedge. 100% original and fine to excellent with 50-60% blue mixed with nice deep patina. Frame case hardening a medium grey patina. Very crisp overall with nice markings and 100% “STAGECOACH HOLDUP” cylinder scene. Back strap and trigger guard with original faded blue and grey patina nicely mixed. Grips with the original finish. Extra nice bore and chambers. Perfect working order. Very scarce and extra nice example.
