Description: General Motors - Inland Division U.S. Model M1 Carbine featuring a .30 cal 18” barrel marked INLAND MFG. DIV. GENERAL MOTORS 6-44, and the letter "P", “S” two-position flip-up rear sight, Type 1 barrel band, flat top bolt, push button safety, two-rivet handguard, high wood straight stock marked with a “Circle P” proof mark on the pistol grip flat, and “crossed cannons” cartouche on the right side of the stock; oval cut stock recess with oiler, and an olive green sling and belt pouch marked US BOYT 43 containing two period magazines. The condition is very fine. The rifle retains 95% parkerized finish with light wear in the operating rod track and crisp markings in the metal overall. 95% of the original blue finish remains on the bolt. Stock is fine, it has been re-oiled with some scattered light handling marks, with a small chip on the right edge by the rear sight, and a small gouge on the left side of the pistol grip.
