This is, perhaps, the best example of a S&W New Model # 3 target revolver out there, chambered in 38-44 and finished in original nickel.
The gun is all original and matching, retaining around 98-99% of its nickel finish, with just a few minuscule areas of flaking as per pictures - on the cylinder, barrel and back strap.
The finish itself is bright and without any dulling or any significant scratches. Excellent bore and grips. The gun comes in an original box with the intact label in excellent condition .

This is just an extraordinary example of a rare gun with under 3000 made in this caliber and with an extremely scarce original box - the first one of its kind that I had ever seen with intact label.
