Description:
Price reduced. Very nice condition Ant. Sonderwald in Neulengbach single shot staking rifle Lefaucheux under leaver action. Round tapered barrel with milled top rib with nice milled design. Rear target style sight adjustable by a small square key. Front fine bead sight dove tailed into rib. Rear tang pop up peep sight. Checkering is in excellent shape with no broken points. Walnut butt stock has no dents or scratches with a dull oil finish. Fore arm has small piece missing at right side top edge. Steel engraved but plate. Side back action lock engraved Petermann Wein in banner. Fine scroll engraving on lock, Trigger guard, action , trigger and butt plate. All metal parts have 80 percent remaining case coloring with hardly any wear . Barrel may have been re blued as it is 100% with no dings or scratches. Bore is excellent and bright. This rifle may have gone under a professional restoration at some time as it shows very little use .caliber is 8 x 72R which ammo cases can be sourced from Buffalo Arms. 32 caliber lead bullets can be sourced from many companies and be loaded useing 8mm dies to neck size the cases and seat the bullets. Barrel has black powder proof mark so reloading should stay within black powder pressures. Please contact me if you have any queastions.
