Mossberg - Western Field Model M-822 - Bolt Action .22 WMR Rifle - Manufactured by Mossberg for Wards Wester Field line of rifles . Monte Carlo pistol grip style stock with raised cheek plate and forend with sling swivel and butt plate that are in very good condition. Hamerless bolt action is smooth and clean. 24 In. long barrel with adj. rear open sight and a front bead sight. Receiver is grooved for scope. Includes a period correct K4-1 scope and rings with clear lens in very good condition. Bore is clean and bright . Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% bluing. 5 round .22 WMR clip magazine. Includes a Torel padded leather carry strap in very good condition. Stock and forend are in excelent condition with minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. The overall condition is very good. Rifle has been well maintained. The model M-822 is the Mossberg Model 640K . Manufactured from 1959 to1984. This is a great find for Mossberg or Store Brand collectors.
