Description:
24 inch round barrel chambered in 44 WCF caliber with full length magazine tube. Bore is very good with some light pitting and good rifling. Metal has toned to a brown/gray color with scattered freckles and traces of blue in protected areas. Markings are good and there are British proof marks visible on the left rear side of the barrel. Sights include a blade front sight and 3-leaf platinum lined express rear sight. Crisp tight action. Wood is in good condition with a repaired crack on the right side of the forearm and several gouges, nicks and scratches from handling. This old charmer in desirable 44 caliber will be right at home in your Winchester collection.
