Description:
24 inch lightweight rapid taper round barrel chambered in the scarce 25-35 WCF caliber. Bright shiny excellent bore. Sights include a Lyman brass beaded front and a flattop sporting rear. Overall condition is very good with about 95% slightly thinning barrel blue. Receiver retains about 50-60% original finish remaining with the balance having flaked and turned a blue/brown color. Crisp tight action. Tube magazine holds 3 cartridges. Wood has most original varnish with just few light handling mars. Serrated steel shotgun style buttplate. 20,500 Model 55's were made from 1924-1932. Nice clean original gun that is scarcer than most think. I don't believe I have had a Model 55 in the 25-35 caliber before. I have searched for a number of customers in the past and was never able to find one.
