ZIMMERSTUTZEN TAKEDOWN PARLOR RIFLE WITH ORIGINAL SIGHTS 4MM PRICE REDUCED
This is a very nice takedown parlor rifle with high case coloring and beautiful walnut Schutzen style stock. The case coloring on this rifle looks about 95% and the bluing on the octagon barrel is almost as good but does show few rub marks. The wood is really nice with a few scratches the forend has a chip and I tried to show it in the last picture, there is also a gouge at the edge of the checkering in the forend. The marks on the barrel include the makers mark which is Kessler a well known German gun maker. I had a German collector look it over and he said original takedown’s came with 2 barrels so the other was likely to have been a 22 caliber. This rifle weighs 13 pounds so estimating $75.00 for shipping plus insurance. Priced to sell $1450.00 plus S&I, call Bud 509-465-8406 for more info or pictures. I am not a Schutzen collector and do think this could be a pre 1898 if so a FFL is not required
