Description:
Serial #209581, .44 Caliber Black Powder percussion, 8 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the second generation Colt 1860 Army cap and ball revolver manufactured from 1978-1982 featuring roll engraved naval battle scene, “F" Series Colt Blue barrel, cylinder and backstrap with a case color frame and loading lever/plunger and hammer. In excellent condition the faithfully reproduced Colt retains about 94-96% of the original blue finish showing wear at the muzzle and some isolated spots of freckling. The case hardened color is still vibrant with virtually all, 97-98% remaining and the brass frame has a pleasing mellow appearance. The walnut grips are solid with very mild handling marks. It comes in the original foam lined cardboard box numbered to the gun with manual and paper work. A very nice example of this limited run second generation 1860 Army. Antique
