Description:
Serial #1056940, .30-06, 26" barrel with a very good bore that has mild freckling within the grooves. This rifle has a 9-18 dated, "E" marked barrel, and retains 90-95% of an armory applied matte blue finish that has silvered and faded along the high spots, bearing surfaces, and edges. The replacement bolt has gray streaks along the body, and the blue on the handle has begun to turn purplish-brown. The "E" marked stock and handguard have an added oil finish over some minor handling marks and small surface blemishes scattered throughout. No cartouches are visible. This is a good-very good example of a Model 1917 Enfield, refinished after World War II. FFL or C&R
