The sword pistol has fine untouched metal throughout. The sword blade is nice throughout and is marked with a crescent moon and three stars on both sides. The iron shield is fully engraved with a hunter holding his horn, and early flint rifle, standing by a tree along with his dog. The name "MAEYNZ" is engraved on the upper right side. The pommel top and stag grip are also original. The flintlock pistol on the sword is also in fine condition. It has a cannon barrel and an engraved hammer. There is a deer and trees engraved on the top of the block that is behind the barrel with the touch hole in it. The pistol works very good. The entire sword measures 26 inched long. The cannon barel pistol on it measures 5 1/2 inches in length from the trigger to the end of the barrel.
