ThIs is A full scale rifled parrot cannon. All Hardware was hand forged and made to original specification as close as possible.
Wood wheels were Amish made to original specifications Trail and all other parts are made of white oak as the original also.
Barrel was machined from a salvaged 3" cannon barrel off a destroyer. Machine shop shaped it into the 3" parrot cannon of civil war vintage. Great attention to detail was put into the machining of the barrel. It retains its original 3" rifled bore. Which is in excellent condition no rust and still shines, has been fired with ball and projectile many times.
Has most implements, but missing sponge bucket and tool to prick powder charge.
This is truly one of a kind , it took over two yrs to build with great attention to detail.!! Would be a great piece for civil war reinactments, Display for Museum, civil war shop etc.
Must be picked up !! No shipping!!! check or cash when cannon picked up. checks must clear before removal of cannon.
