**SOLD**This is a handsome and 100% functional Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver in .36 caliber cap and ball. This Colt 1851 Navy was built in 1856 and is a single-action percussion model revolver with a 6-shot cylinder and a 7.5" inch barrel. It came from the factory with a blued barrel, cylinder,case hardened receiver, loading lever, and hammer. The brass grip frame and trigger guard were factory silver-plated and retains most of its original plating. All numbers are matching including the wedge. The bore is very nice with sharp rifling, is bright, with only very light scattered corrosion throughout. This revolver was most certainly used in The Civil War. This would make a nice example of its type for any firearms or Civil War collection.
