BUDGET, LUGER "DWM" P-08, CAL. 9MM, SER. 178c. MFG 1916. THIS "OLD TIMER" HAS RETAINED 80% OF THE ORIGINAL FINISH. THE MODEST LOSS THERE IS IS DUE TO SOME SMALL PATCHES OF LIGHT SURFACE PITTING AND A FEW SCATTERED NICKS. THE STRAWED PARTS HAVE RETAINED ABOUT 75% OF THE ORIGINAL FINISH. ALL NUMBERS MATCH AND ALL PARTS HAVE THE PROPER CROWN/B, CROWN/G AND CROWN/U PROOFS**. THE GRIP STRAPS SHOW SIGNS OF SOME MILD SCATTERED PIN PRICKS. THE CHECKERED WOOD GRIPS ARE NICE. THE LEFT ONE DOES HAVE THE USUAL MISSING CHIP UNDER THE SAFETY, THE RIGHT IS EXCELLENT. NO SPLITS OR DINGS OR FLATTENED POINTS. THE GRIP SCREWS ARE PERFECT. THE BORE IS VERY NICE, QUITE BRIGHT WITH WELL DEFINED RIFLING AND SOME LIGHT SCATTERED FROST. IT COMES WITH ONE PROPER WOOD BASED MAGAZINE NUMBERED 4781. IT IS CERTAINLY PRICED FOR THE GUY THAT WANTS A FAMOUS MILITARY ICON A HEAD TURNER AT THE RANGE AND CAN'T SELL THE FARM TO GET ONE. BUDGET PRICED AT ....$1745..***
