Offered for sale is a 20ga. Weatherby Athena Grade V over/under shotgun made in 1999 by SKB in Japan. The 26-inch barrels feature a ventilated matte rib, choke tubes (improved cylinder/full) installed and a single brass bead front sight. This boxlock shotgun, with 3-inch chambers and a Greener crossbolt, sports beautifully engraved satin nickel rose and scrollwork panels. The round knob pistol grip stock and conventional forearm are made of oil finished Turkish walnut and are nicely checkered to 20 lpi. This Weatherby also features a gold inlayed “W” on the scrolled top lever, a gold washed single selective trigger with a barrel selector, a manual safety tang and a thin original rubber butt pad. This Athena is “as new” with no handling marks or scratches and likely never shot.
