Smith & Wesson Model 36-1, unfired. 38 Special 5 shot. With original box and papers and tools.. Very faint turn line on the cylinder. 3in heavy barrel. Bluing and grips in excellent condition. It has 1 issue in that there is a ding on the top backside of the rear sight, as it shows in the picture. This one of a group of 213 3in heavy barrel Model 36-1 produced with target sights, only 202 units were sold. These revolvers were serial numbered between serial number 2J3134-2J3347. These were the only standard three-inch heavy barrel Chief Special ever completed by the factory. With letter showing it was shipped October 6, 1975. A very nice revolver.
