For sale from my Dad and I's personal collection is a stunning Belgian Browning Superposed Pigeon Grade 2 Barrel Set 12 gauge in the desirable Field Configuration with the round knob pistol grip and long tang trigger guard. Both barrel sets are serial numbered to the frame, original Tolex case with paperwork and warranty card also included!
1st barrel is 26.5" and choked Skeet over Skeet (**$), the 2nd barrel is 28" and choked Full (*) over Modified (**).
This is a very sought after shotgun for collectors. It features the most desirable configuration (RKLT with factory butt plate), as well as being a pigeon grade with factory coin finish, its original case and papers! The engraving is stunning, the birds are very well shaded and prominently featured on both sides of the receiver, the floral patterns on the bottom are also expertly executed! The wood is nicely figured with soft straight grain and faint vertical gold highlights.
The condition is factory original and shows scattered use throughout all surfaces, safely within the 90-95% range without any cracks, gouges, or corrosion present. Really a nice collectible piece that I hope you will enjoy as much as I have.
