This is an FN manufactured gun and was bought new in a PX in Germany in 1974. I'm the second owner and when I bought it it came with orginal 28" modified fixed choke barrel. I changed that barrel to barrel with a Poly Choke. According to Browning the gun was made by FN in Belgium after they had contracted with Miruko to manufacture A5s in Japan. You will notice there is no scrolling on the receiver. This was my primary bird gun for several years until my dogs died and I no longer hunt. Excellent condition, 90+% overall.
