Arguably the best percussion revolver ever built. Beautiful matte Stainless-Steel finish, with 7.5-inch round barrel, adjustable sights, stainless steel nipples, smooth walnut wood grips with black and silver Ruger Eagle Medallions, comes in a Ruger yellow and black one-piece box, with Owner’s Manual and combination Nipple Wrench and Screw Driver, only the lightest of handling marks. Built in 1994. Serial number 145-75568. While listed as .45 caliber it uses .457 round balls or .454 conical bullets. Ruger states It is safe to use as much Black Powder as the chamber will hold, leaving room for the bullet, although Ruger recommends 20 grains of FFFG with a round ball and either #10 or #11 caps for target practice.
