The Beretta 1934 pistol, made for the Romanian Military in 1941 with high polish finish, is a notable representation of Italian firearm craftsmanship from the mid-20th century. Crafted by Fabbrica d'Armi Pietro Beretta S.p.A., this compact semi-automatic pistol holds historical significance in that it was assembled during the early phase of WWII, still with high polish finish reflecting the attention to detail prevalent at the time. Chambered in 9 SCURT (.380 ACP), the Beretta 1934 boasts a sleek profile and ergonomic design for comfortable handling. It gained popularity among military, law enforcement, and civilian users due to its reliability and concealable nature. Standard configuration Beretta 1934 pistol, made for the Romanian Military, caliber .380 ACP, with fixed front sight and a drift adjustable rear sight. Marked on the left side of the slide with two line address, all capitals , denoting caliber, model, and year of manufacture in 1941. “S” and red dotted "F" safety detents. Small marking on left tang, is likely an inspection marking. Likely a military issue, as there are no commercial proofs. Full serial number on right side of barrel lug, right slide, and right frame. Standard metal backed plastic grips and blued magazine with finger extension floorplate. Synopsis: Exceptional Beretta 1934 pistol as made for the Romanian Military in 1941, WWII era, early high polish. Condition: VG/Excellent bright original high polish salt blue. Sharp edge wear with fading and toning as photographed. Comparable condition grips, slightly burred grip screws. VG magazine with thinning finger extension floorplate. Mirror bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics.
