Description:
***SOLD***US Springfield 1898 .30-40Krag 20" barrel rifle made in 1899. It features bolt action firing with a unique side loading, military grade stock which has been shortened, sling loops, trapdoor butt plate, adjustable rear sight with post front sight, blued finish, and shortened 20 inch barrel. It is in good working order with a smooth action and proper ejection. The finish is in great shape for it's age with some blemishes which the photos show. The stock has a stress crack on the left by the butt as well as one by the barrel band. The barrel has visible rifling with a shiny bore. Nice old sporter rifle!
