About Us: Hoss Cannons builds 3 different models of Cannons. We have the " Hoss " It can be built in 1.50 cal to shoot lead or the 1.75 for golf balls & light powder lead loads. The " Little Hoss " is a 1.50" barrel that is made to shoot lead. It will fit through most doors in the average home. Talk about a great display piece !!! The barrel is 72# & the carriage 50#. It can be disassembled into 3 pieces. The barrel, the wheels & the carriage in 5 min's & will fit in the back seat of a car. All the hardware is hand forged. The barrel has a 1/4 "steel liner. Then there's the "Big Hoss" This shoots a 1.75 lead ball at supersonic speeds. It has 1/2 inch steel liner & was built to shoot lead fast. They're built 1 at a time & they can all be customized.

MAJOR PRICE REDUCTION !!!!! This is a nice cannon to display or shoot. It has a 1.75 bore with a 1/4 inch steel liner. It uses a slam hammer & the mag spark 209 shotgun primers to fire it. If you prefer a fuse can be used. It has custom bronze trunnion caps. The wheels are 30" & built by the Amish . You can shoot golf balls or lead. Golf balls don't shoot straight & they can come flying back at you. Stick with lead. With lead a 300 Grain load is the max black powder 1F allowed. It comes with the ball rammer, the worm & the ceramic ball barrel cleaner. It's a lot of fun. You can paint it a different color if you like, the paint would only need a steel wool scuffing to bond to the 2 part clear coat thats on it now. I shot this cannon over 300 times, shooting lead & 250 grains of black powder. It is a safe cannon. The barrel company has been in business since 1970, that should tell you all you need to know .
