Description:
Beautiful later Syracuse made Lefever EE Grade made with 32" Krupp fluid steel barrels. This gun with splinter forend that has a clam shell release, made with double triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. Straight grip buttstock with long trigger guard tang, engraved stock oval with initials and original Lefever Arms Co. buttplate. The gun is nicely engraved in standard late EE Grade pattern with Pointer in game scene on left, Setter in game scene on right and light scroll throughout.
This rare Lefever remains in very nice overall condition. The barrels retain virtually all of an older restored proper rust blue finish. The receiver retains about 20% original case color. Stocks are sound and retain most of an older restored finish. The mechanics are crisp and the bores are bright and shiny. The gun is tight on the face. I believe the gun was made as a heavy proof type gun and the long chambers appear to be original.
