We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

Description:
One of Sig’s finest pistols, the P229 was designed as a more compact version of the P226. Like most Sig pistols, it was designed for combat duty, but is also suited to such tasks as home-defense and self-defense (car or conceal carry). Even in the modern age of micro pistols, the P229 Elite is still one of the best pistols available. The Elite model comes equipped with SIGLITE night sights. The double-action/single-action (DA/SA) nature of the pistol, combined with Sig’s trademark de-cocker, makes the P229 a very safe pistol to operate. This P229 Elite is fitted with Sig’s famous short reset trigger (SRT). The double action pull is long, but very smooth and consistent. Take-up on the single action is short and the actual break is crisp. The reset requires only a few millimeters and is practically instant. Barrel length is 3.9 inches while total overall length is 7.1 inches. Sight radius is a respectable 5.7 inches. Despite the pistol’s appearance, it is actually rather thin coming in at a total width of 1.5 inches. Weight of the P229 Elite is an even 2.0 lbs. As with most Sig pistols, the P229 Elite comes with a frame rail for mounting a flashlight or laser. Grips consist of the famous E2 Monogrip. This new-in-box pistol comes with two 15-round magazines. If you are looking for a reliable pistol for home or self-defense, the P229 is an excellent choice.
