Description:
This is a full box, 20 correct rounds, of .45-70 Winchester self cleaning ammunition manufactured by the U.S. Cartridge Co. in New York. The two piece buff box has the classic orange and black labeling with a very nice cartridge cut showing Soft Point overprint in orange and white knock out gype denoting "U.S. / 45 GOV'T MUSKET / CENTER FIRE". The box shows exterior tape repairs and has some edge separation. The cartridges show age darkening and lead oxidation on the soft tips.
