1969 Early R prefix Chiefs Special Stainless revolver . The model 60 was Smith & Wessons first production model stainless revolver, J frame, round butt, 2 inch pinned barrel, satin stainless finish, checkered Walnut Magna grips withS&W Silver medallions and Diamond around the screw escutcheon. Serrated ramp front sight with square notch rear sight. Gun comes in numbered to gun blue two piece box with owners papers, tools, and oil paper. 97% overall condition with scattered light handing marks. An ideal pocket or holster carry revolver, 5 shot, rust resistant, good looking and reliable. A complete package of an honest tight model 60 to carry or collect.
